Default makers

SwapClient.forNetwork(network) (SwapClient.default(network) in Python, BoltzApiClientV2::default(network) in Rust) only ever returns a KaleidoSwap maker. On a network where KaleidoSwap runs no maker it returns an error rather than falling back to someone else, so a default can never put a swap in front of a counterparty you did not choose. Signet is the KaleidoSwap test network. Liquid chain access has no KaleidoSwap explorer yet; the examples use https://blockstream.info/liquidtestnet/api.

Keep the network and the chain on the same row

The signet maker settles on Mutinynet, a custom signet. Signet and testnet3 use the same address encoding, so pairing the signet maker with testnet3 chain access does not raise an error: it creates swaps on one chain while your app funds or watches another. Always pass the chain endpoint that belongs to the network you created the swap on. Mutinynet has no public Electrum server. Use Esplora, or pass your own Electrum URL.

Another maker

Any Boltz-/v2-compatible endpoint works if you name it explicitly:
Endpoint support differs between makers. The KaleidoSwap maker serves a subset of the upstream Boltz API and adds routes of its own; see Compatibility.
Record the maker URL with every swap. A refund or a cooperative claim must go to the maker that issued the swap.
